Punjab Grill Kala Ghoda : Delicious Diaries Enjoying Royal Vegetarian Punjabi Feast

Punjab Grill needs no introduction, this outlet is also superlative in every aspect in traditional Punjab Grill way. Best Punjabi food, top-notch hospitality from beginning to end, elegant ambiance, traditional Punjabi folk music to give company, wide range of drinks and a menu encompassing hundreds of options for both veggies and non-veggies.

Even the chutneys, dips and fryums provided at the beginning of the meal is memorable. Special word of appreciation for how nothing is overly dipping in oil/butter (except the dishes that should be) and the main course especially has the exact same taste as provided lovingly by grandmas in any Punjabi kitchen. Perfect representation of ghar ka swaad.

Tried, loved and recommend-

White Wine Sangria (so refreshing)
Punjabi Krantt (Vodka + Lime + Orange + Spices, perfect for summer)
Rola Cola Mojito (the fizzy drink of my choice for these summer afternoons)
Shikanji (brought back memories of homemade shikanji from childhood)

Tandoori Broccoli (can have it everyday, so creamy and wholesome, must-have)
Multani Paneer Tikka (huge, well marinated, soft Paneer chunks, beautiful tandoori starter)
Dahi De Kebab (loved it despite it being on sweeter side, soft and crunchy)
Tandoori Shakarkandi (roasted sweet potatoes, the curd + pomegranate dip alongside takes it to another level, OUTSTANDING)

Baingan Ka Bharta (smokey, rustic, just like my mom makes it, beautiful)
Tori Di Sabzi (Very rare places have a typical rusdaar sabzi like this in their menu,must-try)
Aloo Palak (forget all the commercial oily versions and have this, strong flavors, nothing fancy, healthy + delicious)

Dal Punjab Grill (Creamy, buttery, calorific, the famous Punjabi daal to end all daals)

Choose any Indian bread and it will be fantastic, we had Missi Roti, Lachcha Paratha and Garlic Naan, couldn't stop eating or choose the best from it all.

Kalakand, Gulab Jamun and Kesari Phirni were the traditional desserts to add another layer of yumminess to our meal,

Little Paan Shots ended our experience on a refreshing note, cannot wait to be back here soon :)
